Opelika man arrested for breaking and entering, theft of property

AUBURN, Ala. - On Oct. 25, 2025, Auburn Police arrested Roosevelt Lee Pace, age 22, from Opelika, Alabama, charging him with unlawful breaking and entering into a motor vehicle and theft of property fourth degree.
The arrest stems from Auburn Police responding to a report of auto burglaries in progress near the 100 block of Wright Street on Oct. 25. Officers responded to the area and observed two suspects flee on foot. One of the suspects was apprehended and identified as Roosevelt Lee Pace. The second suspect evaded capture.
Police confirmed that the suspects made unlawful entry into multiple vehicles and stole property from the vehicles. After further investigation, Pace was arrested for charges associated with the auto burglaries and transported to the Lee County Jail ($4,000 bond).
